Moldex Plastic Recycling Sdn Bhd is located in Johor, Ulu Tiram Industrial Estate. Two factory buildings house all the personnel and machinery needed to process the work flow for recycling industrial plastic scraps into re-usable plastic resins. Depending upon market demand and customers’ specifications, Moldex is able to recycle scrap plastics into re-usable plastic pellets of high quality for injection moulding plants. One example is the high impact polystyrene (industry name HIPS) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) coming in two grades – A of higher quality and B of acceptable quality. Where needed, A grade undergoes ROHS testing for acceptable production standards and limits regarding presence of halogen, bromine and other heavy metals.
