In all our recovery operations, there are always junk scraps comprising of plastic and metal bits as well as small paper stickers that cannot be recycled at all. To throw them away in the general waste bin would be easy but that would be the wrong thing to do even if waste bins are segregated into metal, paper, plastic and general rubbish labels.
Our company treats these non-recyclable scraps as industrial waste and ensure they get to NEA accredited companies for destruction by fire disintegration or by landfill.
We compressed and packed non-recyclable scraps and load them onto lorry size rubbish container (both as shown below) for onward transfer to be disposed properly.
